It's 2 in the morning on a Wednesday, I'm typing away with my cat at my side, and I couldn't be happier.

Things have genuinely turned around for once. I'm taking care of myself. I'm exercising, I'm eating better, and I haven't smoked a cigarette in a month!

On top of it all I sorta went on a date today. I'm not in love, but I haven't been on a date in a long time and it was completely lovely.

So I have decided as long as I can avoid the song "Bang on the Drum All Day" by Todd Rundgren at work, I can almost get things done. Don't tell anyone but I haven't actually done anything productive for about two weeks now. It's getting sort of ridiculous.

I had a lot of homework to get done this weekend so I did the obvious - have my own personal office marathon. I watched 1 and a half seasons, tallying at nearly 20 episodes. That's 10 hours.

Anywho, I think I'm in love with my very good friend. She has no idea of course, but what can you do?

Success

So it's Monday, and everything is surprisingly awesome. I did good on my physics exam, i got to work on time, i'm almost talking to a girl, i got my headphones back, i haven't smoked any cigarettes, i got to have breakfast, and i even had a good bm. I'm feeling a little all over the place, but i think i'm just overjoyed. Now to study and listen to some She & Him. Sometimes things just work out.
